  • 539461-LLP-1-2013-1: ETN FETCH “Future Education and Training in Computing: How to support learning at anytime anywhere”, the project is supported by European Commission under the Lifelong Learning Programme. Main aims of the project are: achievement of intelligent growth, and building a knowledge and innovation based computer society through raising the quality of computing education, introducing modern innovative technologies in education, sharing knowledge, discussing methodologies, promoting exchange of good practice between all parties.

    • WP3: Dissemination and Outreach – the In-silico Intellect team members have been involved in preparation of dissemination video materials.
    • WP4: Training – is aiming to provide a sustained, high-quality training and education service for the European HPC community through seasonal schools, workshops and scientific and industrial seminars, in order to effectively exploit the unprecedented capabilities of HPC resources of RI. The In-silico Intellect team members have been involved with “”Parallel Programming” and “BioInformatics” courses in two PRACE seasonal schools and organized one happening “Supercomputer Challenger” for the ICT Professional Secondary School.
    • WP7: Unified European Application Benchmark Suite (UEABS) is a set of 12 application codes taken from the pre-existing PRACE and DEISA application benchmark suites to form a single suite, with the objective of providing a set of scalable, currently relevant and publically available codes and datasets, of a size which can realistically be run on large systems, and maintained into the future. The In-silico Intellect team members have been involved in Task 7.4 “Unified European Applications Benchmark Suite for Tier-0 and Tier-1” in the PRACE Second Implementation Phase (PRACE-2IP) project.
    • WP8: Novel Programming TechniquesThe In-silico Intellect team members have been involved to optimize the software package ClustalW by using artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC).
  • Project “Centre of Excellence on Supercomputer Applications” (SuperCA++) is funded by the National Science Fund, Ministry of Education and Science, Bulgaria. The In-silico Intellect team members have been involved in WP1: Architectures of PetaFlops Supercomputers and WP2: Multiprocessors Communication Networks for PetaFLOPS Supercomputers.
  • DID-02 “Molecular Design and Recombinant Competitors Construction of Human Gamma Interferon: A New Approach for the Treatment of Autoimmune Diseases”, supported by the National Science Fund, Ministry of Education and Science, Bulgaria.
